Mary Kilian Lasik experience – Date of Surgery 7/30/2010

From the first time that I visited Hale Vision, I was impressed by the staff. Everyone treated me in a kind, courteous and professional manner. They all were very knowledgeable. Dr. Hale informed me in detail yet in layman’s terms, how the procedure would be performed and what to expect afterwards. I felt completely confident in the care that I would receive under the care of Dr. Hale and his staff. It’s been four days since the procedure and I am very pleased with the results. I am glasses and contacts free for the first time since the 4th grade.

Being a photographer I value my eyes and knew after talking to literally hundreds of people about their experiences with Lasik, that I would only get the Best! That’s Dr Hale! People told me I was crazy to pay so much when I could go to “get it done” cheaper. After experiencing your office’s professionalism, I can’t imagine having gone anywhere else; it was never an option for me. Every step of this process was thorough, from the office reminders, to the packet outlining questions. I loved meeting Dr Hale in an informal setting to address my final questions. I was very nervous and after that meeting, I felt ready! The ladies in the office and testing were great! They seemed to really enjoy their jobs and treated me like I was your only patient, not rushed and pushed thru!

What a personal touch in this “instant” age of service we live in!

The office atmosphere is great, nice and clean and comfortable! I felt very comfortable in the operation room as well. And wow! Now 4 days out! Can’t believe how my life has changed already! I keep thinking I need to get my contacts out before my eyes get tired and I can’t see! I wish I did this years ago but I waited for the best!

Thank you, Thank you for my NEW eyes! I love them so far and am so assured that with my follow-ups I am going to be seeing better than ever!

I had a very positive experience with Dr Hale and his staff. They were there to explain every step of the process and answer all my questions. Although not the least expensive place in town, the addition cost was well worth it to not be run through an “assembly line” process like some other places which do many surgeries per day. It was great that you could meet Dr Hale before surgery to explain the process, It was great knowing what to expect.

I visited another laser place, and the visit with you was the difference of night and day. I felt secure from the start and I knew exactly what my vision could be with a successful surgery. I was well informed of the risks as well as the guarantees. In my case, because of how high my prescription was, it was still worth it for me. I would recommend Hale Vision in a heartbeat.

My name is Keith Ward and you provided laser surgery to me on December 4th, 2009. I have a few comments about my experience and you may share them on your website if you would like.
I was very impressed with the professional structure of the full process from Hale Vision. This includes your supplying information on laser surgery, the available financing, the precision measurements you obtain and the verbal walk through by Dr. Hale of my surgery, including what I would see, feelings I would have, sounds I would hear and the odors I may smell. Another thing I was impressed with is Hale Visionâ€™s ability to be on time with the appointments you set. There is no sitting around and waiting. I also, wanted to thank you for allowing me to have someone that wanted to watch the surgery through camera views, do so, from a private room with one of your staff to walking them through each step of what was occurring. Each and every person responsible for me made sure I knew they were available to answer any questions I have, at any time before and after the surgery. Your vision center is a class act!
Only one thing that would have made my own personal experience a little better would have been stronger guidance on whether or not to have mono-vision surgery. It was a hard decision for me, since I never considered that option. However after reading some of the information you distributed just before the surgery, I found I had made the correct choice for my age.
I selected Hale Vision Laser and Implant Center for my surgery based on the recommendation of Mark A. Dagenais OD, of The Eye Group, S.C. You may thank him for the recommendation. I have thanked him on my behalf. I have already recommended your facility to others that are thinking of having laser vision surgery.

From the moment I first spoke with one other the Hale employees, I could tell how much more professional, thorough, and advanced Hale is in comparison to the five other centers I visited. My experience was superb. To trust people with my vision is nerve-wrecking, but I did not feel nervous about trusting Dr Hale and the staff- the opposite. I appreciate how much they all went “out of the way” for me. My life is already improved.

Pentacam Technology Introduced by Hale Vision

The Pentacam is a 3-D modeling device that provides the refractive surgeon with the most detailed information obtainable today. NASA Approves LASIK

September 21, 2007 NASA approved All-Laser Lasik for use on U.S. astronauts. This decision was made following extensive clinical research conducted by the various branches of the military. The data, they felt, revealed that the combination of femtosecond laser for Lasik flap creation and wavefront-guided excimer laser for the corneal sculpting provides “superior safety and vision”. This, of course, is the technology that was introduced into Southeastern Wisconsin by Hale Vision and has been in place for over three years.
